Mokuta Takeo
 
1910 Born in Hyogo
  Because of the influence from his grandfather who was a Japanese-style painter,
he started to paint since his early childhood.
1928-29 Learned Japanese-style painting from Koizumi Katsuji
1930 Started oil painting. Tried to create the works with steels.
1936 "The Landscape with Steel Scraps" was exhibited in the 5th Dokuritsu-ten.(After that, he
  submitted the works every time except 7th Dokuritsu-ten.)
Studied under Suda Kunitaro
1947 Awarded "Dokuritsu-Award"
1949 Recommended for the member of Dokuritsu Association.
1953 Moved to Tokyo.
1973 The collection of his wood cut prints "Fuyajo""Kawaibana" were published.
  The collection of his prints "Shojo-Raisan" was published.
1980 The collection of his artworks was published.(Limited to 300 copies)  
1987 Died in Augsut 8th.
